Doris Day Pilgrimage!

Martin Hardee sent me this fantastic photo he took of his child Blair Hardee, on an evident gown pilgrimage to Doris Day’s handprints outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater.

Okay, so it was a lot more of a COINCIDENCE than a pilgrimage, however often the relevance of an event is apparent only well after the fact, right?

I believe this would be a fun meme … send me photos of yourself in a gown next to any type of type of Doris Day iconography (although the handprints are difficult to beat — inspect out the prints made by her stilettos, too! Ouch!) as well as I will publish them here. Remember: What would Doris Wear?
