I’m *almost* made with my 8728 obsession (almost — stay tuned). I’ve started now to noodle around a bit with the concept of jumpers, for wintertime (or of what passes for winter, in California). I taken a look at MOMSPatterns for some inspiration:

And, of course, I believe I may go back to last year’s obsession, our good friend Heidi, or even this similar BurdaStyle pattern:

Although I’m terrified that maybe what’s truly pulling me towards this pattern is the pocket topstitching, which I would nearly definitely be as well lazy to do. (And her genuinely outstanding liquid-eyeliner skills — at 40, is it as well late for me to master that? I mean it doesn’t truly go well with glasses …) as well as that armhole is a bit deep for me … even with a tee shirts under it, it can look weird.
