Nothing like a coat with a bit additional “zip” (as my mom would say) to turn your fundamental black outfit into something not so basic. In this case, the elusive “zip” is available in the type of front-framing fringe as well as the flowy draping of what’s been the ideal blanket coat in which to wrap myself as days ended up being progressively cold right here in San Francisco.
I threw on some brown leather booties to mirror the brown leather tab closure in the front, thereby appeasing my chronic compulsion for some aspect of matchy-matchiness, as well as even more breaking up the black monochrome. Two birds, one stone.
With the November chill lastly right here (and an approaching trip house to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving… yesssss!!!), I’m in dire requirement of a winter season coat refresh. Below are the ones I’m currently eyeballing. Any favorites?
